Description
A comprehensive study of the leading players in the Reich Security Main Office. It is based on data from 221 functionaries, SS personal files and prosecutorial investigation documents. Curricula vitae, practice and the process of radicalisation of the office, which turned young academics into a central group of perpetrators of the extermination policy, are presented. In addition to a social-statistical analysis, the focus is on the quantitative examination of individual persons: Erwin Schulz, Paul Werner, Heinz Gräfe and many others. The world view, planning and conception, structure, Poland in 1939, expulsion and extermination in 1940/41 as well as the post-war period are documented.
