Marcel Bloch took a long time before deciding to develop a fighter aeroplane. His first attempt was a complete failure; the aircraft could not even take off. However, the ideas he brought to the project led the French government to call him in and, after numerous improvements, the industry made him one of the three main defenders of French airspace. In addition, Marcel Bloch continued to break new ground, proposing new aeroplanes, one prototype replacing another. This first volume deals with the first successful aircraft designs by the French aircraft manufacturer Marcel Bloch.
