This work is a memorial to the wolf-dog "Baska", who served with the highest degree of merit for many years on the Eastern Front of the Second World War and was decorated. She not only performed uniquely as a combat dog in the field, in parachute operations behind enemy lines and in house-to-house combat, but also in finding and recovering the wounded between the fronts.
