Description
The "New 500" was produced by Fiat from 1957 to 1975. A true symbol on four wheels, it stood for made in Italy and was characterised worldwide by its unique and unmistakable design. The Turin-based company pursued a simple goal: to produce a vehicle that would increase the number of customers who could afford a car. But not only that. The car also had to be easy to manoeuvre in the city and economical to run. In 1965, the F version was introduced, which was destined to become the most widely produced car. The Fiat 500 F was the first to have the doors mounted on front hinges, in accordance with the new road regulations, and was equipped with numerous innovative technical and aesthetic solutions, such as the new frame and a larger windscreen. It has remained the "classic" 500 to this day and is fondly remembered by many motorists.
