Offizin Böhler, Berlin. Since about 1801, the Offizin Georg Gottfried Böhler was based in Berlin. G.Gottfried Böhler died in 1815, but his widow continued the business. In 1826, Gottfried E. Louis, his son, qualified as a master craftsman, but he died in 1865. In 1842, the Berlin address book listed Böhler as a pewter and lead manufacturer at Jørdenstr. 4. His son Ernst Louis Emil Böhler passed the examination for the master craftsman's diploma in 1870. In 1884, the Böhler company appeared again in the address book. Stamps on containers name Louis Böhler as the owner. During the inflationary period in Germany (around 1923), the moulds were sold to the Röders company in Soltau, where they are still to be found today. A small number of castings were made once from the original moulds of the former Böhler company. A unique opportunity to acquire such rare figures. Engraver: Wildt.
