Description
Rafa "Archiduque" is a recognized wargaming miniatures painter who collaborates with different brands of figures, among them Perry Miniatures.
He also writes painting articles for different publications.
This set contains a personal selection of shades for painting 28mm miniatures set in the Thirty Years War.
This range of colors can be used perfectly for the English Civil War as well. The shades can also be extrapolated to figures of different scales.
The shades are selected for painting 28mm miniatures with the triad system and includes a guide for use inside the box.
The Thirty Years War was a politico-religious conflict fought in Central Europe that confronted an anti-Habsburg and Protestant coalition against the Catholic allies of the Habsburg Monarchy.
It lasted from 1618 to 1648 and ended with the Peace of Westphalia. Regarding uniformity, there was no homogeneity on any side, except for the Swedish army that did have some regulation.
The armies to identify themselves on the battlefield used to use feathers, sashes or armbands with their national colors.
