Description
König Artus (Welsh Arthur ['ar?ir]) is a legendary figure who appears in many literary works of the European Middle Ages in varying contexts and meanings. His domain is located in Britain. From the late 9th century onwards, British chronicles record the king's leading and successful participation in the battles against the invading Angles, Jutes and Saxons (Anglo-Saxons) around 500 AD, and from the 12th century onwards, this story was elaborated and given its classical form in the literature of the Hanseatic period. -Wikipedia-
